Wednesday, LP Zoo and the HEAT...

It's been SUPER hot in Chicago these past 2 days, even having heat warnings--The kids still love being outside though...Lot's of sunscreen and water...

I ran Week 6 Day 3, which is 25 minutes of running with no breaks. Thought I was going to die--but I did it:)

Ry's started play camp this week and he really likes it...He's going to the Lincoln Park Zoo tomorrow. Next week they're going bowling. For the little amount we paid, we're getting a hell of a deal...

K has to go to the orthodontist for a consult--her mouth is too small for all her teeth, so she's probably going to ned braces soon...

It's been a minute or 5...

Happy father's day!

I was up 2 oz at my last weigh-in, which sucked! I'm still doing the same things, so I don't know why...whatever, I'm going to run everyday this week, weather permitting. Rain is not my friend...

Going by my Aunt's today, maybe FINALLY getting my tat today...who knows.

Yay for new phones and hair cuts!

My phone died on Sunday, so I'm using an old razor....which is a HUGE change...no internet--no email...Tom did order me a Samsung Instinct™, OK, well, I ordered it, but I was trying to give him some credit. I'm also going to my friend Shannon, who works at Orbit Salon to get my hair done. Can't wait! My friend Angela's father passed away, it's sad and scary--It means we're all getting older--What can you do, except be there?

Friday! Tattoos and Concerts!

Weekend plans...Either tonight or Sunday, I'm getting an old tat covered up with something like this:

Minus the flowers and in all black/grey shading and stuff...I'm going to World Class Tattoo in Berwyn.

Tomorrow is the Aerosmith concert with my friend Angela. Our husbands are going to play wiffle ball at Little Cubs Field in Freeport Illinois

It's raining again:-( Has to be the soggiest Chicago ever...echhhhh...Maybe take Ry to see Up today. Kate got to see it before it came out and I think Ry would like it too.

Here goes another week...

Worst sleep ever last night:( We were going to go to the zoo(again!) today, but Kate is sick(again!!), so were home. Maybe take a run to Menards and Target, but nothing much planned other than that.

Breakfast: Frosted Oats Cereal--I used Almond Milk, good stuff
Lunch: Turkey Panini
Dinner: BBQ Chicken Pizza

Got a free entree from Jenny Craig for doing a survey...too bad they don't offer those more often...

Saturday...

So we didn't go to dinner, I had the JC Chicken Fajitas, I added cheese and made them into quesadillas.

We did go see The Hangover, which was freaking hilarious. Not good for anyone under 16 or 17, but super funny.

Probably going to hit the zoo again. Having the pass rocks.

Today is my anniversary! 9 years married and nearly 10 together! Going to dinner somewhere tonight, no idea though. I didn't run this am, I'm going to the Brookfield Zoo with Kate's class, so I'll run tomorrow...

Yay!

Weigh in today was great--I'm down 1.5 more pounds for a total of 12.9 pounds--only 7.8 more to go to hit my Jenny goal. I think I'm going to keep going with it until I'm happy with myself. I'm getting older and I have 2 kids, my weight moved and it lays in different places than it did when I was 19...:-)

Breakfast: Frosted Oats Cereal with Cherry Vanilla Yogurt
Lunch: Chicken Sandwich--I added salsa I found at Trader Joes-Peach--Yum!
Dinner: Lasagna
Snack: Cheese Curls-haven't had them yet, hope they're good

Tomorrow is our 9th wedding anniversary, and we're going to go to dinner--ALONE:)) so I have to figure out something--still. My JCC said a 4 oz petite filet and some veggies, and if we want to share a dessert, that's OK too.

Lunch: Cheesy Enchilada

Dinner: Chicken Fajitas--I'm toasting the tortillas and making them into more of a quesadilla

Nothing much going on today or tomorrow, except for my weigh in tomorrow. Not sure how that's going to read since it's about that time...

I think I'm going to go to Ulta today, I'm looking for some boscia products. So off I go:)

TGIFridays and anniversary....

So last night I went to go see an advance screening of The Proposal, but the line was sick and we didn't want to wait. So we went to TGIFridays--I had no idea what to order, so turkey burger and veggies it was. Came home and weighed myself and was up 2 lbs?!? Whatever.

Friday is my 9 year wedding anniversary and Tom wants to take me out to dinner. Any ideas where to go?

Lunch: Turkey Birger(YUM!!)
Dinner: BBQ Chicken Pizza
Snack:Cinnamon Twists

I started week 4 of the C25k plan and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be:) Oh, and I found a 5k to train for the Race to Taste. I just found it, I hope I can still register.

Week 6 of JC/Day 1 Blogging

Hey all--I'm Nina. Mom of 2. Wife of 1. Finally losing some of the baby weight I've been holding on to since the boy was born--4 years and 3 months ago(today!). Just trying to keep myself accountable(good luck!) and to have something to hopefully show the girl(she's 8), that if I did it, she can do ANYTHING!

So here goes:

Breakfast:Complete Start Cereal

Lunch: Meatball Stuffed Sandwich

Dinner: BBQ Chicken Pizza

I'm going to http://www.atriptothemovies.com tonight for an advance viewing of The Proposal. So, my snack, who knows, probably some popcorn.

So far weight loss:
Week 1: -4.4 pounds
Week 2: -1
Week 3: -2.4
Week 4: -.8
Week 5: -2.8

Total: -11.4 which is 1.4 pounds less than my halfway goal.

I'm also 'training' for a 5k, using the Couch-to-5K running plan. I start Week 4 Day 1 tomorrow!
